Malaysia Elected To IAEA Board - Bernama

04/10/2008, GEMENCHEH: Malaysia has been elected to the board of governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a statement issued by the Malaysian Embassy in Austria and the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations said here Friday. Malaysia will begin its two-year term from October 2008 until September 2010. The nation completed its previous two-year term on the board in 2004. Malaysia will be represented in the IAEA board by Mohd Arshad M. Hussain, the ambassador to Austria and resident representative of the country to the IAEA, and he would assume the post of governor of Malaysia on the board. ....

02/9/2008, KUALA LUMPUR-- : The Health Ministry should do its homework before awarding contracts to any company, Malaysian Medical Association president Datuk Dr Khoo Kah Lin said yesterday. "The person who's giving the contract must know whether the company is qualified so problems won't arise."
